CREATION YOUTH ANNOUNCE SIGNING OF FIRE IN HER EYES. ‘TOO LATE TO CHANGE’ SINGLE IS OUT NOW
The London-based psych-folk band is happy to present the opening single ahead of the upcoming debut LP, ‘Look Into The Sky’. Due to release 2026.
Produced by Youth (Paul McCartney, Killing Joke, The Verve), ‘Too Late To Change’ is a driving psych-folk-pop anthem blending ethereal melodies with bold lyrics, a genre-blurring sound that feels nostalgic and fresh. Sisters, songwriters and multi-instrumentalists Daniella (Topaz) Livingstone and Natasha Livingstone invite you to share their world within the first chapter of Fire In Her Eyes.
From psych-folk and progressive-rock to pop, soulful jazz and world music, they will take you on a journey you’ll never forget. “Too Late to Change” is a psychedelic folk-pop anthem with a catchy melody and rich, seamless production.” – explains Daniella discussing the newly released single. “Natasha and I wrote “Too Late to Change” in Tenerife. We wrote the song next to the ocean and used its mystery and ambiguity as lyrical and melodic inspiration. I played the opening guitar chords and sang the main riff, while Natasha improvised harmonies and wove in the song’s vivid sea imagery.” – continues Daniella. The powerful message immediately resonated with Youth, who insisted on including ‘Too Late To Change’ to the album. “Youth offered a fresh angle, and together we layered in mellotron and synth, giving the song a whole new depth and emotional texture.”
Reflecting on lost love and questioning, whether it can be rekindled, Fire In Her Eyes drive you through mesmerizing melodies, captivating harmonies and rich chords. “The song’s core idea came together in just five minutes, and we later brought it into the studio with Youth to complete the production. Their Debut Album 'Look into the Sky’ will be out early 2026 on Creation Youth (Alan McGee, Youth).
The Album is produced by Youth (The Verve, Paul McCartney, The Orb, Killing Joke). Fire In Her Eyes play both as a duo, and also with a full seven piece band. Venues they have performed at include The Brighton Dome Concert Hall, Leighton House Museum, St Pancras Old Church and Handel & Hendrix Museum. They have had radio play on BBC Radio 1, Radio X, Radio Caroline, BBC Asian Network, WFMU, Soho Radio, Planet Rock, Resonance FM and Amazing Radio. The band has a unique musical style that separates them from others and this is reflected in the forthcoming album.
