Unfortunately, Judas Priest won’t be joining the epic Black Sabbath and Ozzy Osbourne farewell concert on July 5, 2025, in Birmingham… but they’re not sitting this one out quietly. Instead, the legendary metal band just dropped the next best thing: a blistering, full-throttle cover of Black Sabbath's iconic anthem "War Pigs".

The track is a powerful homage to their fellow Birmingham legends, timed perfectly for the farewell show and solid enough to be a worthy addition to Judas Priest's discography.

"We are honored to show our love for Ozzy and Black Sabbath with our homage of 'War Pigs', a song we play at every show around the world that fans sing along to, reinforcing their love as well for the legendary Prince Of Darkness!"

Black Sabbath's final concert, titled Back to the Beginning, is set to take place on July 5, 2025, at Villa Park in Birmingham, England — the birthplace of heavy metal and Ozzy Osbourne's hometown. This one-night-only event marks the band's last-ever live performance, reuniting the original lineup — Ozzy Osbourne, Tony Iommi, Geezer Butler, and Bill Ward — for the first time since 2005.

The show also includes a solo appearance by Ozzy, though he will perform only a few songs due to health issues, before joining the band for a final farewell. The event, envisioned by Sharon Osbourne to give Ozzy a meaningful reason to return to the stage, doubles as a charitable benefit, with proceeds going to Cure Parkinson's, Birmingham Children's Hospital, and Acorns Children's Hospice.

Judas Priest and Alice Cooper will team up for a co-headlining North American tour this September and October. The tour also features openers Corrosion of Conformity, who have a new album due out sometime this year.
