Mauro Filigheddu is an Italian artist, musician, and author.
Music
Filigheddu, also known as Mauroff, has a musical background, having played as a guitarist, keyboardist, and vocalist in six different bands.
He composed "1980 Song for John" for the soundtrack of the film "Strawberry Fields – Keeping the Spirit of John Lennon Alive" (2009).
He has self-produced three albums: "Spaghetti English" (2011), "Sardinia UK" (2017), and "Mishmash" (2020), recorded in Italy and the US.
Art
Mauro Filigheddu identifies himself as an "Imprexpressionist," a term suggesting a blending of Impressionist and Expressionist styles. His work has been exhibited, including in a show titled "All the Colors of the World" in Dubai on February 1, 2024, and "Langobardorum" in Rome in May 2025. His paintings, described as "Maskface italiane," include acrylics on canvas.
Writing
He is the author of several books, including "Via della Giuliana," "Luminosità," "Dalle galline all'Infinito," and "Dove i lupi vanno a morire".
